Richmond Family Gravestone Images and Inscriptions (Gravestones are sorted by the first name)

Gratefully, a 17 century Richmond cemetery which was lost to time along Route 44 near Taunton, Massachusetts was found in the recent past. Since then the timber and brush has been cleared and this part of Richmond history has once again come to light. The Taunton Daily Gazette has written two arrticles. This recent story precipated this project to preserve images of the gravestones of our Richmond Ancestors worldwide for future generations.

The white lettering seen on some gravestones is shaving cream. To enhance the ability to read a digital image of a gravestone, smear the gravestone with shaving cream,then squeegee off the cream. The shaving cream will infill the engraving’s depression improving the readability of the information.

When submitting a digital image of a Richmond gravestone, please include the following information: Name, birth, death, cemetery location; including city, county or parish, state, country.
